Yes. Haul is a fully licensed, USDOT-registered and state-certified moving company, and we carry cargo, liability, and workers' compensation insurance. Basic released-value protection is included on every move at no charge, and full-value protection is available as an affordable add-on that covers the replacement value of your belongings.

For local moves we recommend two to three weeks' notice, and for long-distance moves four to six weeks is ideal. That said, we keep same-day and next-day crews available for last-minute moves whenever we can. Weekends and the end of the month book up fastest, so if your date is flexible, a midweek slot is both easier to get and usually cheaper.

Absolutely. You can add full packing and unpacking, or just buy quality boxes, paper, tape, and specialty containers like wardrobe and dish barrels. Our packers use color-coded labeling so every box lands in the right room, and we bring free wardrobe boxes on move day for hanging clothes. If you'd rather pack yourself, we'll happily just do the heavy lifting.

Yes — we have a dedicated specialty crew trained to move upright and grand pianos, gun safes, antiques, pool tables, gym equipment, and fine art. They use the right dollies, straps, ramps, and custom crating for each item, and these moves are quoted as a clear add-on so there are no surprises. Just flag the item when you request your quote.

We offer clean, climate-controlled, 24/7-monitored storage billed by the month. It's perfect when your closing dates don't line up or your new place isn't ready. Your belongings are inventoried on the way in, kept in secured vaults, and we re-deliver them to your new home whenever you're ready — no need to rent a separate unit or move everything twice.

It's rare — our crews pad, wrap, and secure everything — but if an item is damaged we make it right through your protection plan. Basic coverage is included on every move, and full-value protection covers the repair or replacement value of the item. Just note it on the inventory at delivery and file a claim; our coordinator walks you through the whole process.

There are no hidden fuel surcharges. Local moves may include a single, clearly stated trip charge that covers travel to and from your location, and it's always shown on your quote upfront. We don't spring "heavy item," stair, or long-carry fees on you at the door — anything that affects the price is discussed and written down before you sign.
